The Christmas Novena
Christmas Novena 2019

Catholics around the world pray this Novena from St. Andrew’s Day 30th November to 24th December. While others prefer the more classic 9-day Christmas Novena began on 16th December.

As I always say, “there is no wrong way to pray, just pray.”

Say every day

Hail,

and blessed be the hour and moment at which the Son of God was born of a most pure Virgin at a stable at midnight in Bethlehem in the piercing cold.

At that hour vouchsafe(1), I beseech Thee, to hear my prayers and grant my desires. (Mention your intentions here) Through Jesus Christ and His most Blessed Mother.

(1) NOTE: I never heard the word vouch·safe before so I looked it up.
verb: give or grant (something) to (someone) in a gracious or condescending manner.
“it is a blessing vouchsafed him by heaven”
reveal or disclose (information).
