Again my mom’s friend Mae handed her a bunch of handwritten prayers she collected or maybe even wrote herself. I thought they were fitting since I started this prayer book with my father’s prayer asking for the Holy Spirit to come into my heart and guide my actions. I end with asking the Holy Spirit to guide my decisions and to empower me in His ways. 

Please Guide My Decisions
Holy Spirit, I don’t know what my future looks like. All I ask is that you fill me with your grace and guide my decisions today. Come, Spirit, and let me know that your are with me. 
Holy Spirit open my eyes to the glory of the Lord. Teach me and empower me to follow Your ways.
