Chaplet of Saint Peregrin

St. Peregrine, the patron saint for persons suffering from cancer, AIDS, or other illnesses.

St. Peregrine was born in Forlì, Italy and was ordained a priest and established a Servite community (Friar Order Servants of Mary). There he was widely known for his preaching, penances, and counsel in the confessional. He was cured of cancer after he received a vision of Christ on the cross reaching out His hand to touch his impaired limb.

“The lesson of Peregrine’s life is not that God worked a miracle, but that a faithful servant placed himself, unconditionally, in the hands of God.”
